Navajo Rug? I do beleave this is Mex. made. not Native American... here is why. First let me tell you I'm Native Indian, ( Shoshone) we are a federal reconized tribe. When a Indian is weaving blankets we use Chants.. like Spider chant. because Spider tought us how to weve, there are many many other chants we use, and songs. Bright colors we use because we want to tell a story, your rug is very light in color, ( not telling a story) most blankets are tied at the 4 cornners, not fringes, there are some out there, but not many.. also when you use a loom the lines are not all stright and unformed.. some rugs have built in flaus,, because only the creater can be perfect.. If you google Native rug Vers. Mex. rugs you will see the diff.. It is a nice rug. worth what you paid. just not Native American...
