Description

A three piece nest of tables with book matched mahogany tops inlaid with rose/vine patterned marquetry. They were part of a living room suit of furniture purchased by my grandparents in Chicago during the 1920s.  There are no labels or stamps that I can see. The tables have never been refinished to my knowledge. They do show 90+ years of wear on edges but otherwise seem to be in good shape.

This set is in the Colonial Revival style, designed to look like Chippendale furniture. Most sets like this date between World Wars 1 & 2. We retail comparable sets in good condition for about $250.00.
