Crystal Stirrup Glasses Three Wise Men

By Ayesha4119, 16 June, 2013
Description

Bought these glasses about a year ago. Have researched online to find out maker and value to no avail. They are a darker blue than in the photo; more COBALT in color. The glasses have a lovely ping when tapped lightly. I thought they might be Baccarat or Kostaboda. The gilding across the hats looks like 24 kt. gold.

There is no signature or mark on the glasses as the bottom is actually the top.

Any information provided about maker, value, or age would be most appreciated.

Re: Crystal Stirrup Glasses Three Wise Men

Hi Carole

I'm pretty sure that these three wise men are from Hadeland Glassverk in Norway. I live 20mintues drive from their factory.

You can view them on their homepage here:
http://www.hadeland-glassverk.no/nb-NO/Nettbutikk/TRE-VISE-MENN--3-PAKK…

They cost about 99$ new.

Sincerely,
Anders
