Kammer and Reinhardt

By torpedodog, 28 April, 2013
Description

I have 2 Kammer and Reinhardt dolls.  They both have K*R and the number 117 on the back of the head with no other markings anywhere.  Their bodies are fully jointed and they both appear to be made completely of Bisque. One has full eyelashes and hand painted lower lashes with feathered brows. The other has no lashes except hand painted lower lashes and feathered brows.  They both have repairs to the ankle and other small repairs. All-in-all to me they appear to be in good condition.

Re: Kammer and Reinhardt

Your dolls are reproductions possibly made in the 1980's by someone attending ceramic and or porcelain classes.  Authentic antique dolls like these have bisque (or porcelain) heads with composition bodies.    Hope this helps with their identity.
