Re: Oriental silver trade tokens

These are almost certainly made in the past 20 years and "german silver" an alloy that has no silver it in whatsoever. If I am correct value will be a few dollars each.

Re: Oriental silver trade tokens

I have done a magnet test on it with an earth magnet and it seem to be silver also a jeweller I know has looked at it but not tested it and he seems to think its looks and feels like silver .but would a magnet act the same way with silver as it would with that German silver alloy ?

Oriental silver trade tokens

Thses tokens can be found everywhere, Not much worth here. $20.00 each. maybe. If I were you I would have your friend test the silver, if it is real then you have something.. If they are not real. Frame them and ask a few dollars more.. Good luck, I think Fishwacker is right.
