Description
This table was given to my grandmother when her mom died in 1950. My great-grandmother was given this table by an older woman whom she befriended. Apparently, this older woman loved unique furniture. That is all the information I was given.
Re: Asian marble top table
These tables are Chinese and generally date from the 1890's through 1920's. They were made for the export market. Matching "Dragon" Throne Chairs were also made in this style. One of these would go about $350.00 these days.
Re: Asian marble top table
I have a matching table, chair and Console table.
Re: Asian marble top table
Judging from the quality of the marble alone, plus the rose color (unusual), I think perhaps maybe the table would fetch more than $350, but I'm not a "professional" appraiser!
