History
Mom claims she purchased it in the 1970s. She calls it a "banana chandelier". I think it's Italian. It's 3 tiered. Looks greyish when not lit, but a nice amber when turned on.
What a fabulous piece!! I have seen similar chandeliers in various antique shops in Palm Springs, California - the Midcentury Mecca of the Modern World.
They are very much in demand and can bring in in excess of $1,000+.
My suggestion would be to go on to the Internet and search for an antique shop in Palm Springs who specialize in Midcentury Lighting. You are sure to find some great info!

I would agree with the Italian, and believe it's a hanging lamp more so then a Chandelier.
