Re: Old mechanics measurement board it is believed
on the bottom of the sliding table, is there a place a cable would have attached to it? alos what does the very bottom of blank look like? also does it look like it was mounted to a wall?
Re: Old mechanics measurement board it is believed
I am going to give my best guess to what this MIGHT be. If you have a log 30" round. how many 1 1/2" cuts can you get? Use your board and see what you come up with? ..1" 1" cut you get 1" board. NOTE" I'm just Guessing 100%.. Maybe just a gauge the guy used?

Re: Old mechanics measurement board it is believed
It was not mounted to a wall it appears. Â But I believe your thinking is on the track. We do know the individual did wood carvings with a saw blade. Â Perhaps this was used for measurement. Â Thanks for your input!
