Description

This is a Noritake bowl with lid in excellent condition. Blue and gold gilded with 4 gold feet.

Noritake backstamp with "Komaru" symbol and Made in Japan in green.

Does anyone know the age and pattern of this item please.

It is 17cm in diametre and 13cm in height.

Any idea of approximate value?

The marking on this one was used from about 1928, but I don't know the pattern. Noritake has made hundreds of patterns and not all of them are named. Values for Noritake peaked in the 1990's, demand for it since has declined. We often see the bowls similar to this one going for less than $50.00 at auction.
