Pair of  ? Victorian mantle vases. 

good condition. Some  slight wear  and small chips underneath on bases. Don't know anything about them.  ? Year ? Maker

MADE IN ENGLAND

REG.N9675607

indistinct  gold lettering 315  on one,  ending with possibly 2.

Other gold marks on bases of both  vases  indistinct.

Well, they are not Victorian, markings such as "made in England" were not in common usage until the 1920's .The registration number for the design was registered in 1975. What this indicates is that these are reproductions of Victorian vases with very modest values, they often sell for less than $25.00 at auction.

Thanks very much for that. Sadly they were purchased from a reputable antique shop for quite a bit more than that. I had my doubts about them so that clears that up.
