Antique vanity kit

By coffeemannk, 25 July, 2014
Description

My grandma has recently passed and I found these in a box while cleaning/going through old things. They are all silver or sterling silver. They all belonged to my grandmother's mother. My grandmother was 74 when she passed last month. Her mother lived in California her whole life and was very wealthy, her husband was a professional dog trainer for big movies, he was the dog trainer for Lassie. I'm sure all this information isn't needed, I just wanted to give an idea of the type of people who used them. I am wanting to get a value estimate as well as your opinion on what time era these are from. The shaver has no markings which makes me think it is brass and silver plated, I may be wrong though. know the pieces are tarnished, I know not to try and fix on my own,

WSW  Ruddell Bird "Rudd" Weatherwax This set belonged to his Father.. Could make it worth more.Good Luck.
