i have the same end table like yours. Never thought i would find another one like it, i was wondering myself what it was made of and the year. can u send me a picture of the base of the coffee and end table?
I also have this same table! I don't have the end tables though. I have been searching for months trying to find something out about this table. I was starting to think there was no other table like it! Do you both still have your tables?
This table is likely by Marindo Bland, I think it is a Dutch company from the 1950's. I have not yet found any information on the internet but I am investigating. We have had similar tables in the past and just received a two tier one on worked iron frame. We are vintage dealers in London and our website is www.roomscape.net. We also send out a monthly newsletter of all our new arrivals along with a profile of a vintage designer. We hope to feature Marindo Bland in an upcoming newsletter and Blog. We would love to hear from you if you have any additional information about this item.
My in-laws had a set exactly like these. They were purchased new in the 1970's just north of Harrison Arkansas. I believe at Omaha Arkansas, or north of there on Hwy 65 that goes up into MO. There was atleast 4 sets purchased and I believe there was 5 by people in our family. A rock shop along side US Hwy. 65. They did not make them there bc I remember someone in the family wanted a set and the man had to order theirs. I have one of the end tables. After my in-laws passed away they were divided up. Today my husband and I bought a set of the end tables from a person on line. Not sure where she got them. Just proud to have them. They are not exactly like the one that has been in the family, as these have a few more shells in them. I hope this helps.

I believe also that the 2 end tables we just bought may have been outside as they have yellowed somewhat. The one of my in-laws is still clear and bright. I still am very proud of the set I bought today. I am going to ask some in the family but I believe that the set of 3 new was around $225. I may be way off but that is what I am thinking. I remember the were not cheap for 1970's. My husband and I married in 1974 and they were bought after that. LM
