Acoma Indian Pottery Dish with Lace Edge 50's

Description

This belonged to my mother and she included a note in with the packing.  Note reads, "Bought from Acoma Indians on Reservation in New Mexico 1950-1955.  Bottom of dish says Acoma N.M."  Mint Condition.  Beautiful open design around edge.  No chips, cracks, etc.  Measures  4 1/2" across x 1 1/2"h.  Sits perfectly.

I can't seem to find one like it on the internet and was wondering what the value might be on this.

Thanks so much for your time!

Re: Acoma Indian Pottery Dish with Lace Edge 50's

There is tons of this style pottery out there, Now if it was signed by Emma Lewis Mitchell

or some other well known potter, it would be worth more, $50.00 tops for this one.

Most of this style was Acoma Indian Pottery 1950s tourist market.
