Description

This is a white pitcher and washbowl combo from the late 1800s. It belonged to my grandmother. It is in excellent condition with no stains or markings-couple of slight pockmarks from its original manufacture. The glaze is still bright and shiny. The bottom contains the coat of arms stamp by H Burgess. Burslem. I would love to know its value. Thank you for your help!

Values for basin sets peaked in the 1990's and been in decline since then. Undecorated ones like this were "Utility Ware" and values for those never appreciated as much as the far more popular "Flow Blue" examples did. Today plain white sets like this often go for less than $100.00.
