Vintage NWT Swingster 'Bomber Style' Goodyear Coat

Profile picture for user bobbyrohr88

Description

Landed this gem at a thrift shop...  Goodyear Swingster Bomber coat with the tags still on the zipper!  Thing was in *PERFECT* shape....until I got ahold of it.  (Painted my enclosed trailer on Friday, then Saturday afternoon I hung this on the coat rack in there...well, it stuck.  You can see a few spots on the back where the vinyly-pleather stayed on my wall.)

Either way, spent A TON of time trying to track this baby down... Even called the company who bought Swingster.  Everybody claims they never made a Goodyear Bomber coat.

*Ahem*

I beg to differ.

UNLESS--Somebody did an outstandingly remarkable job putting a Goodyear patch on a coat they literally never wore... I'm not certain you can even iron a patch to this... It feels so, rubbery, kinda...

Re: Vintage NWT Swingster 'Bomber Style' Goodyear Coat

Hello, did a little research and found that Swingster did make some bomber jackets, like this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MENS-VINTAGE-SWINGSTER-USA-GOODYEAR-RACING-BOMB…

This listing is a newer model as the goodyear patch and swingster logo is different.
