1926 Telephone Commemorative Program

Profile picture for user msn1022

Description

I have a telephone commemorative program from 1926 that was given to guests at a dinner held in New Orleans to honor the first telephone customers in the city. There is an autograph in the back of the program, but I do not recognize the signature. I have had this most of my life, and would like to get an apprassal on it. I look forward to hearing from someone.

Re: 1926 Telephone Commemorative Program

I will try to get a scan of the autograph, but I have no idea who it could be. The signature is not very readable.

Re: 1926 Telephone Commemorative Program

I do not see it as being worth much. I collect antique books, and honestly, most are worth $2 or so. Of course they often sell for more, but majority are really worth nothing unless they are by known authors. Something like this is a bit different than that, but seeing as it isn't by any specific author, and it's not a piece of literature but rather a commemorative program and not even a book.. I would have to make the educated guess that it's not worth much. However, what are the names that are in the book below the photos of the people? Just curious about that. And, do you know why the signature might be there? Is it just on the back, not really for any reason? Or?
