Roman coin I think, but I can not find it in any books/websites. Can someone help me with more info on this coin

History Was my great grandfathers, not sure how long he had it. He was a antique clock and sundial collector, And he had many rare antiques

thank you for your input, I will look that up (re: Coins of Tiberius). I should have never assumed that it was a roman coin, but I did. Thank you again

If you can make out some of the letters on the bust side of the coin primarily left to top of the bust it would be easier to identify I have nearly 100 roman coins but the problem is there was thousands of variations and many look very similar to each other. So the key is in the inscription if you can either tell me some of the letters or a pic that I can see them better I'll try and identify it for ya I got a few good reference materials at my disposal :)
