"1971" on a scroll under a circle within which there is a crown atop a coat of arms encircled by a wreath. there is also a "149" on the underside of tghe bottle as well

Excellent

History
Made in Italy. Seems to be missing the stopper but is in otherwise very good condition.

I have the same car but it is still filled with red wine and has the replacement stopper which is a spare tire. Did you ever find out anything on the value? Mine is one of four that I have in the collection.

I HAVE TWO OF THE 1912 ITALA CARS THEY WERE IMPORTED INTO THE USA IN THE SIXTIES BY PETER HAUPTMAN COMPANY,A DIVISION OF MCESSON LIQOR CO.ST.LUIS MO.63110.IT WAS AN ATTEMPT TO MOVE INTO THE VINO MARKET IN THE U.S.A.HOPE THIS HELPSDONT KNOW IF THEY ARE WORTH ANYTHING ,BUT I SAW SMALLER VERSIONS AT AN ANTIQUE MARKET TODAY IN BRISBANE QUEENSLAND AUSTRALIA.AND THE VENDOR WANTED 25 DOLLARS AUSTRALIAN EACH BOTTLE .THESE WERE THE SIZE OF THE SAMPLE BOTTLES YOU SEE WITH ALL SPIRITS.
