Hello lucyf,

This is a great find. You have pretty much everything. Does the inside cover of the box have the cardboard instructions?

I see people trying to sell this entire collection for around $4k. They are still trying to sell it, which means folks aren't biting. Storage is also a big issue. Most people would be happy with just the helmet.

If you put it in auction, you might get burned too. A bellow, horn and mask (missing flat and hose attachment) went for $500. It didn't have everything else that you had. I was surprised it went so low.

I would say $2-2.5K would realistic if you were trying to unload it. It takes a special buyer who has the space. The more paperwork you have on the Suez would help the provenance.

Best,

Thank you for your comments.  I appreciate your advice re price as I really have no idea what to ask for the unit.  It does have the instructions taped to the top of the container.  Unfortunately, I do not have any paperwork to verify that it was used in the Suez, just word of mouth.....I think I will just try to sell outright and your suggestion of $2000 sounds fair.

Thanks again for responding.
