Ill gladly offer my opionion, but its just an opimion  - im new here and just figure i'ts nice to know someone has looked at your item.

 It is a beautiful old mirror but I would think that the missing piece prevents it from having any sort of value.   It is similar to a Victorian mirror I used to own.  The stand is very elaborate - more so then the one I owned and the face adds an intersting touch. 

I would try and figure out what the metal is - do you think it was meant to be black or is it tarnish by any chance? Did you examine it carefully for any sort of stamps or marks?
