Shoshone Arrowhead

Description

This arrowhead was found by me about 10 yrs ago in Weston Id (near Preston) this is known to be Shoshone indian tribe territory. It is 100% intact. Very clean. Would like to know more about it and possible appraisal. (435)770-6829

Very cool, looks like a "bitterroot side notched" they tend to date to 6,500-7,500 b.p. (Yeah, it's THAT old!! ) sadly even ancient arrowheads are still very plentiful and aren't generally worth much at all, I would guess $20-30 tops.

I live in Idaho too, in boise, I go arrowhead hunting near mtn. Home all the time. Just be careful about where you pick these things up, it is only legal to collect them from private land with permission from the landowner, there are heavy fines and even potentially jail time for picking these up on public land!!
