Antique cast iron umberella stand in Falkirk, FK2 area

I have this cast iron stand. This was taken from the old Royal Hotel , High Street Falkirk, many many years ago.

I dont know anything about it apart from this.

I have recently seen one for sale on an American site, for $855.00

I really need to try and see whats all about this stand and get a correct appraisal for it.
