Description underneath the lamp has a Quoizel, Inc sticker dated 1977 and embedded on the lamp itself it says 1978 C-266BA 4 1/8 I have searched and searched and the closest thing I find is the Abigail Adams lamp with Blue roses. The lamp I have looks exactly the same but the colors are different and has red roses.

As the sticker says, this is a modern decorator lamp from the late 70's. Not much demand in the current market for these pieces, at auction they often sell in box lots for under $25.00. Lovejoy

Wow! I'm looking for a hurricane lamp from Quoizel Inc. from 1978 with C-266BA 4 1/8in on the bottom, which does match what is in your description. The funny part is that my mother's lamp which has "Quoizel Inc. from 1978 C-266BA 4 1/8in" on the bottom looks nothing like the picture of the lamp shown here. My Mom had received her hurricane lamp as a wedding gift in the 1980s and a big gust of wind came through the living room window last weekend and broke the lamp shade. So I don't understand how all the numbers can match, but they are not the same lamp? My mothers lamp is floral in harvest colors (brown, yellow, orange & green)and the whole look of the lamp is completely different. Trying to figure it out. ~ Hayley Belanger, from Biddeford, Maine

Not sure how much overall help I can give here but one thing I find interesting is that you mention that your lamp has a sticker on the bottom.  I just bought one of these lamps and it is actually engraved with all of the information.  It is engraved with "Quoizel, Inc. 1973 #1961 - 4 1/8" ".  I don't know much about this company, admittedly, but I would find it strange that they go from engraving the bottom of the lamp to stickers in a 3-4 year period of time.  Additionally, when looking at the website and seeing the current Abigail Adams lamps, the brass base is very decorative and ornate just as my 1973 lamp is but your example is not.  The base of your lamp actually looks more like the Quoizel Satin Lace lamp.  

As far as the color of the flowers, I was told by a lady at the store where I bought the lamp (and who owned one of these lamps) that each one is different as far as the floral design goes.  Not sure how true that is but that's what she said.  

So, maybe I'm reaching here but there do appear to be some inconsistencies with your lamp and known Quoziel examples.  Could it be possible your lamp is a reproduction of some sort????

This is a vintage Hurricane Lamp made by Quoizel, Inc in 1978.  Model G-267 BA 4 1/8.  Beautiful floral pattern across the top, the metal is in good shape with a few scratches.  This is a gorgeous lamp!

Looking for just such a lamp or just the top glass section. y numbers are Quiozel Hurricane Lamp C-266BA 4 1/8.If for sale or weather purchase please advise. Have a set of these but one has been broken.
