Not sure of its origins. Looks South American maybe? Trying to sell? If you contact me, I know some people much more knowledgeable on this sort of thing than myself. What's the material? If unsure, is it Hard, soft, porous, dense and smooth? Any markings. Letters, dates? Or do you think ancient? That was my first thought and I'm interested.

I am new to the site too. The height is around 9 inches, 3 inches width. I guess you could show the pictures to your friend, maybe he has some knowledge about this.
