Ceramic figurine (biscuit porcelain?)

Description

Hi,

does anybody recognize the mark on this porcelain figurine? we inherited in the '70s from somebody who used to live in Milan, Italy, but I don't think it is italian. It is in very good condition, adn approx 5 inches long, and 2.5 inches tall.

Thanks!

Sure do, it's by a German company, "Porzellanmanufaktur A.W.F. Kister G.m.b.H." Here's a link to history about the company that made it http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/thuringia/scheibe-01/index.php

The marking on yours dates back to about 1925.
