I have come across some antique coins but I'm not sure what period they are from and not sure how old they are, if like to find out more about these coins
May I ask where you found these coins? Judging by the visible writing and symbols on the coins, my guess would be that they are from India, about 500 to 600 years old. I would guess India because India was know for having square currency. Your coins all appear to be bronze, which would show that they could perhaps be older than 500 years old. These coins are rising on the market but the bronze coins tend to sell for about $15 a piece to the right buyer!
If I was any help, I'd appreciate an accepted comment! Thanks!
I agree with your assessment for what that is worth. The square coin is called a mogul dam from India made during 1540-1545 out if copper. We have two of these and we are seeking a value as well. Luckily when we found them I was familiar with Sanskrit so I knew the symbols were from India. I believe the rest of those coins are as well. I found the names of mine via Wikipedia. Link copied here. I would love to know a value.
