Multi coloured chandelier ( glass?)

we have just moved into a new house in north London and have this and two other chandeliers in place. It appears to be old looking at the actual fitting?

This is very nice looking. It has inspired me in new directions with my own lamp creations.

It also looks strikingly similar to another item on this site. Both yours and theirs are 8 arm chandelier style, both have crystals hanging from various areas, and both have strands of crystals. Makes me wonder if someone simply took yours and covered the parts with colored glass and replaced some of the brass fittings with glass ones.
