Re: Antique Horse Drawn Cart Child Size

I am not sure if we can post links?

If I don't get thrown out, :

I found an duplicate of your horse in a California Antique site:

http://earlycaliforniaantiques.com/antique-french-toy-pedal-riding-cart…

this horse is the same as yours, with same saddle markings,

if you click on the image lots of pictures will come up,

the only minor difference is the way the cart connects, probably a design correction from the original. Even the wheels are the same, the horse for sure is the same, position and body.

It also lists the dimensions, so you can check it against yours.

http://www.icollector.com/Toy-pedal-horse-w-cart-VG-orig-cond-35-H-x-54…

that one sold in 2010 for $550.00

another one is on pinterest :

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/542613455077221947/    It sold for $611.00 in sept but no under body wheel. And was made of sheet metal, in very poor condition at time of sale.

Some of them have wheel covers for mud control. smile

The one at California Antiques is asking $2500.00 for theirs, they have had it in stock though since 2013 so not a fast mover.
