This is not an oil painting, it is a modern print reproduction and is worth between $50-$100.

Not to argue but I am absolutely right in saying this is a copy. The original is entitled "the student." You can ask anyone else in the industry and they will say the same thing and tell you it's worth very little, if they bother responding at all.

I'd say both of you are right. This is a copy but can still be an oil painting. 

Reproductions of 'The Student' can go from anywhere between $100 to $400, or whatever somebody is willing to pay for a reproduction.

It all depends on the size of the reproduction, the age and as I mentioned on what somebody is willing to pay for it.
