Description
I received these beer steins dated 1849 and 1894. One is hand-painted with Original Thewalt, Alt-Brenzau, and 1894 printed on the bottom. The other has a cityscape on the front with Gegr, Uhlenhorst, and 1849 on the bottom, as well as some cursive that I can't make out. The writing on the front says, 'Das Rathhaus und der', which I'm guessing is the city. I would appreciate any information on history or value of either one. Thanks so much!
