Description
It has been commented on by many people because no one has seen a picture like this. Not of the Christ Child. I am very interested in finding out if it is indeed an oil painting or not. Also, who signed this picture. The glare on the picture is because of the glass and in the one picture, the white in the lower right hand corner, is also a reflection from our window. That is not in the actual picture. It was difficult to take a good picture with the glass on it.
Re: Christ Child Painting Picture
My Grandparents had this picture over thair manetl when I was a child. I was told the title of the painting was "The light of the world" How much are you selling it for? I have been looking for this to purchase. it reminds me of my Grandparents house and I just love it.

I am not sure what I will sell it for, as I have not received an appraisal of value on it yet. Please keep in contact until I can get this information. Thank you.

Hi Cheryl,
I'm trying to find out the same thing. I thought I would get some idea from this site as to an appraisal, but maybe I misunderstood the intended results of listing my items on this site. I'm going to try to find out some other ways of how to get them appraised by an official appraiser.
I may have to resort to contacting some official sources related to antiques.
