Antique Pitcher and Gobblets

By RussM, 16 July, 2015
Description

this has been in my family as long as i can remember.  I was told it was my grandmothers as the picture shows one goblet is broken, about 20 years or so i would guess.  My mother said a glass blower told her it cold be fixed, but all I know is all the parts are there.  The silver is rubbed in some spots.  The pitcher weights 1792g (3 lbs 15 1/4 oz)  The goblets weigh 294g (10 3/8 oz)  Not sire what else to say so if you have any questions please let me know.

Re: Antique Pitcher and Gobblets

This set is called Athena aka Reverse 44 by US Glass around 1912, value probably 75 - 100 for the set, the goblet would not be worthwhile to get repaired. Hope this helps

Re: Antique Pitcher and Gobblets

I agree with mattsapp, sets like this have modest values and tend to date from the first quarter of the 20th century.
