Jacob & Josef Kohn, Wein chairs

Description

I have three of these chairs, they aren't in the best condition. They were given to me by a friend, and it looks like they were stored in a barn/attic/garage...somewhere where there was moisture/humidity. Are they worth any money or just junk?

From our files... "In 1849 Jacob Kohn and his son, Josef, of Vienna (Wien), Austria, founded a company that made wooden parts for buildings. The company began making furniture in about 1867 and eventually established factories in several cities. The Kohns manufactured bentwood chairs similar to those made by Thonet. The Kohns’ company merged with Mundus in 1914 and the name became Kohn-Mundus, so your chairs were probably made before 1914. "

Values for these bentwood chairs depends a good deal on condition, chairs in need of some restoration often sell for under $75.00 each.
