NEED SECOND OPINION IDENTIFYING THIS DINING SET.

By Talldrynk, 1 January, 2016
Description

Someone was kind enough to give me their opinion on this table and chairs, but my sister thought I should get a few more opinions on it and compare the information I receive.

So, if any one viewing this post is familiar/ knowledgeable about antique table sets, and would be so generous as to share some of your knowledge regarding this piece, I would certainly appreciate your help?

Thank you so much for your help.

INFORMATION I'M CURIOUS TO KNOW:

Style: I was told it is an Eastlake, but wanted to get a few more opions to be sure it's not a Jacobian, or another style?

APPROXIMATE DECADE IT IS FROM? I.E., 1920'S. 30'S, ETC.

HOW MUCH YOU WOULD TRY AND SELL IT FOR?

IS THIS TABLE CONSIDERED: REFRECTORY, PUB, KITCHEN, OR DINING, etc.)?

WHAT TYPE OF BASE IS THIS (i.e. trestle, etc.)?

RARE OR COMMON PIECE?

I SINCERELY THANK YOU FOR ANY ADVICE YOU ARE WILLING TO SHARE.

History
This is a 5 piece set with pull out leaves. Table is in great condition with only 2 small superficial scratches on table top. chairs are also in great condition except for a couple of legs on two of the chairs. Looks like a dog chewed on them at the bottom of the legs.
Table was given to me by a former neighbor who said it was handed down from grandparents. That's about all I can tell you about the history of it.
