Description
This 1920's unopened bottle of Bacardi Rum was given to my mother in the 1970's from a fellow employee who stated it was reteived from a ship but that cannot be verified. It has a tax sticker on the side that states partly "for medicinal use only". Trying to get estimate of value as to sell. Thanks in advance.

Re: antique bottles
This bottle was made between 1916-1919 during the short time that Bacardi operated a bottling plant in New York. The plant was closed in advance of Prohibition. This bottle most likely came to market during the first year of Prohibition (circa 1920) before medicinal liquor bottles were standardized to pint size bottles and smaller. (During most of Prohibition you could not legally buy a bottle of alcohol larger than a pint.) If you still have the bottle I'd love to speak with you about it.
Cheers, Eric

Re: antique bottles
Can any of you help with a bottle I have listed on here? Just search antique bottles with keywords pure grain alcohol bottle. Thanks
