The watch isn't from 1861, can you provide clearer pics of the hallmarks on the case and a pic of the movement?

The serial number is found on the inner workings of the watch not on the casings. I also have a waltham and I was searching the wrong number myself. The pic above where you have your thumb you should see another number there. That is the serial number for the watch. Try searching that number in the waltham pocket watch database. It should tell all you need to know
