Re: Northern Furniture Company Dresser (Sheboygan, Wisconsin)

This piece was made during the first quarter of the 20th century (1900-1925). The Northern Furniture Company was founded in 1881 by George B. Mattoon in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the company at that time known as the Mattoon Manufacturing company up until Mattoon's death in 1904). The firm manufactured a large number of popular bookcases, buffets, tables and desks up until 1949, during which the company went through yet another name change to R-Way Furniture. We'd retail a comparble piece for about $350.00 if it was in good condition.
