I have never seen one of these tea cups with all the research I have done. Tea Cup and Saucer has a black background with pink, yellow and purple chrysanthemums in the center of the saucer and also the center of the tea cup. It is a teal blue or soft green not sure with gold trimming. I would like to know the history. On the back it has the "Her Majesty Queen of England emblem on it, Fine bon China England Regd. X8/1 and another blub I can't read.
Please help,
Patricia

Let me know, it would be nice to know the history.
Re: Paragon Chrysanthemums Tea Cup and Saucer
Hello :)
Wikipedia has some info....
1937 - King George VI & Queen Elizabeth grants a royal warrant for the occasion of their coronation
I'm not an expert...hope this helps a bit :)
Re: Paragon Chrysanthemums Tea Cup and Saucer
Thanks for seeing this, I took it to a Antique shop and they said it worth only about $15.00 bucks, but it was too pretty because I've never seen one before so I kept it.
Do you have any idea what it would be worth? I don't think I would sell it for less than 50.00 but I could be way off.
Thanks for the help.
Patricia
Re: Paragon Chrysanthemums Tea Cup and Saucer
Paragon made huge numbers of these bone china cups for the export market, values for them vary by design, but we don't sell very many for over $30.00.
