Re: Saudi Arabian Tea Pot

I bought a tilting teapot at an estate sale just like this one. The only mark on the bottom is 15. I does look like it has a signature on the side but I can not make it out.

Do you know anything about the teapot?

Re: Saudi Arabian Tea Pot

Examples like this are 20th century examples, made in large numbers for the Tourist Trade, often sold in outdoor street markets. While not mass produced in the modern sense of the term, they have been made in very large numbers since the 1920's, so values tend to be very modest for them, tea/coffee pots often selling for less than $50.00 at auction.
