Fratteli Coppini Cimaruta Pendant

By MelissaS, 1 June, 2012
Description

I found this piece about ten years ago in a 'junk' store. In my internet research I have identified it's maker, House of Coppini Silversmith in Italy, the jewelry maker started in the 1700 by Fratelli Coppini. It is 800 silver as indicated by it's marking. The 800 does not have a circle around it which is a post 1930 indicator of the regulation of silver, showing it is a pre-1930 piece.
