vase is 7 inches in height x 6 inches in diameter,appears to be a very big and old pomagranite fruite that has turned to wood,Also has a tube like glass flask that is about 5 inches long  and 3/4 of an inch round in the top that runs down the middle of what appears to be possible wood,on the underside there appears to be an arabic  or jewish symble

It's a candle holder made of burl wood or burlwood and the mark is probably that of the artist.  You can find them on eBay - for example - look at item 152166650608
