Edison Wood Products ~ Little Folks Furniture

By cndljen, 9 April, 2015
Description

I recently bought a "mini" crib, I say mini as it's much smaller than the standard cribs sold now.  After I got it home I found a label on it that states Edison Wood Products Inc.  It is a crib from Thomas A Edison's Little Folks Furniture line.  I have been researching and believe it's from the time line from 1937-1957 before the company was purchased by McGraw and later by Simmons.  I have seen other cribs, they appear to be full size cribs and have a little girl and a lamb on them.  The one I purchased only has a lamb on the headboard and footboard.  The side rails do not slide down like the ones I have seen.  Any information regarding this piece along with an estimated value would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Re: Edison Wood Products ~ Little Folks Furniture

I have the same "mini" crib listed, the only difference is mine has 3 rabbits on the headboard and footboard. Any additional information woud be greatly appreciated. I would like an appraisal and might be willing to sell. Thank you!
