Description
This is made out of cast iron. It is 29 inches high. The top is 13 1/4 x 5 1/2 center to center on the top plate bolt holes. The door has JEWEL and L67 cast in it. The knob on door has L66 cast in it. What was it used for and approximate age. It is HEAVY.

It looks like the base of an old coal fired hot water heater, pieces like this really only have scrap metal value.

I do not think it is a heater of any kind. It has a wooden floor in it. I think it is a base for some tool.

Don't scrap! It's gorgeous, and has 1001 uses, even if it's not "valuable" or whatever.
I could see it making an interesting plant-stand or adding a top to make a cool catch-all for an entry-way (place to put keys, etc)
Price ALWAYS depends of the venue and the buyer, but in a store, I would put $100 on it.
Does that door open? $50 -100 bonus if that door opens to make a convenient drawer.

Door opens. I am going to keep it until I find out what it was used for originally.
