18th early 19th century tobacco/meat grinder

Description

I inherited this from my father. Im not sure exactly what it is. Ther is an item very similar on EBAY. The difference is the handle on my grinder is metal. Ive taken it to antique shops in my area and they have told me it is a regular tobacco grinder.
