I came across this item at a local Salvation Army Store, and from researching it I believe it was made in the late 1800's. However I would like to know what the numbers on the bottom mean and possibly a rough value. Thanks,,,Bernie
Hello, I'm not sure when this post was created but it's now 9/25/16. I was actually wondering if you obtained any information regarding this neat teapot. I'm in possession of the same one with the only difference being a "6" in place of your "5" on the bottom. (Mine is in a little rough shape but I'm still able to make out the print). It also looks like it's been repaired. I hope you find out about yours! I found mine in a similar fashion.
