Description

Five Canisters with lids. Amstel German works. Circa 1920's. Mfg. logo etched on bottom of each. All are in excellent condition  A sixth canister labled "Oatmeal" is included but should be regarded as a "no cost" item...it has a small crack and chip in the front. And the lid was broken...has been repaired and is functional in that it will stay in place but is not complete because there is small trianguar piece 1/2"x1/2"x1/2" missing.

There is not a lot of demand for these blue and white Delft style sets currently, demand last peaked during the early 1990's. They were made in very large numbers in both Holland and Germany for the export market between WW1 and WW2, we'd retail a comparable set for about $150.00.
