1932 Cedar Lane Chest

By shesgot3, 8 December, 2009
Description

This chest is beautiful! It has a few small scratches on the top and some wear in the finish on the top and around the bottom. The Key/lock are not intact, but I still have the original cylinder and key. As far as I know, all the hardware is original.

Re: 1932 Cedar Lane Chest

I have a cedar chest by lane that is similar. I am interested in a copy of the key or a zerox copy so I can have a key made. Could I get a copy from you? I'll be happy to pay you for your trouble.

You may contact them for a free http://www.lanefurniture.com/CustomerService/Lock-Replacement.aspx replacement lock, if yours is within the years of the recall.
And, if yours is pre-40's it is more than the newer, which are usually only around $200.... http://www.ehow.com/how-does_4794032_determining-value-lane-cedar-chest… can date it thru the company, too.

Re: 1932 Cedar Lane Chest

How do you know this was made in 1932?  We have one just like it, but our S/N 2375130?  We have the Key and the lock works.  Any idea of the value of these?
