I have this Marvel dresser with a 1903 stamp on the back. I am not sure what hardwood it is made of, and is in good condition with a mirror. It measures 42" long by 21" wide and is 66" tall with the mirror.
The 1903 date is for the patent of the drawer system used in this ;piece and not the date the piece was made. Furniture of this type was made during the first quarter of the 20th century Marvel went out of business around 1930. Values last peaked for 1920's Colonial/Federal Revival furniture in the late 1980's, it's been in decline since then. Comparable pieces to this one often sell for about $150.00 at auction these days if in good condition.
