Re: Berkey & Gay Dresser
The Berkey & Gay Furniture Company was incorporated in August, 1873, and was well known for its quality suites. Dressers like this one date from the mid 1920's through early 30's and tend mix of late 18th century to early 19th Century styles such as Sheraton and Hepplewhite, generally referred to as "Federal Revival". Values for these depend a great deal on condition, as refinishing cost can exceed the value of a set in good original condition. We'd retail a comparable for about $450.00.
