H Alken

By Monkey2018, 13 December, 2017
Description

I recently bought 4 prints by H Alken:

Going to the meets

Drawing Corners

Part 5 & 6 of Fores’s Hunting Casualties.

While I found a few examples of Hunting Casualties online, I have only been able to find one ‘Going to the meets’ and ‘Drawing Corners’ which are very expensive as they are described as hand painted and pulled before print.

Re: H Alken

you bought 4 prints and they are hand painted. that is 2 different things preints are made from paintings and not numbered.  these might be prints and might be jst later pictures also . look for a large square  indention on the edge  to see if they are actual prints. it seems like most go for about 35-45$ each but some bring much moer an art appraiser can tell you if t  you have the higher dollar ones. i see a nimber on one i bet its a print. last 2 look like they are from books and might be prints or later pictures. worth a lot less.  the second one looks like it might be a print also.
